Chickens 🐤🐤🐤
We have lots of different types of chickens at our place.
A boy chicken is called a rooster and a girl is called a hen.
Can you tell which photo is a hen and which photo is a rooster?

Kia Ora James, wow what a lot of detail you have put into your report. I think it is great you included yourself in the pictures with the chickens. You did a great job with you labelled diagram. What is your favourite fact about chickens?
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Hart
DeleteMy favourite chicken fact is they lay one egg a day per chicken.
Hi James, what a great report you have done on Chickens. I love how you have added photos as well as all the information. I did not know the fact about Silkie chickens having 5 toes. What is your favourite type of chicken?
ReplyDeleteHi
DeleteMy favourite is the silkies
Hi James
ReplyDeleteWow I loved reading all about your chickens! What a lot of information you have included in your report, I like how you explained what different words mean like comb and broody. Did you know that I think I can hear you roosters from my house? On quiet morning from my deck I often hear roosters and I think they are your roosters! Lucy knows lots about chicken too, have you spoken to her about chickens? Thanks for your great work James!
Hi Miss Watherston
ReplyDeleteMaybe your neighbour has some roosters to. I think mine are too far away for you to hear. Yes I have talked to Lucy about her chickens. Isa in my class has chickens too.
